The Road to the Tower

I have done some pretty crazy things in my past to try to gain a different perspective in a photograph than what everyone else has already done. I have hiked into some backcountry where Grizzly Bears were known to be, and hung myself from an overhang in Firehole Canyon to get a shot of the river below. For some reason my idea last night seemed a bit crazier than those experiences! I decided to stand in the middle of a Paris street at 9pm with traffic rushing by both sides of me, blowing their horns to get this perspective. I didn’t think I would get ran over, but my heart did skip a beat when a police car passed me. For a minute I thought he might come back for me! What a rush, and I feel I got a photograph worthy of the risk!
