Inle Lake Bridge
On a hot day in August 2014 I spent the day exploring Inle Lake from a boat with a hired boatman I was dropped off at the local Buddhist Temple and market. I walked around and checked out the goods that were being sold, everything from a live fish or goat to coffee beans and rice. I noticed that many people were walking past me at one point and leaving the market so I followed to see where they were going. This was an island on the lake separated by canals and a marsh, I thought maybe they were getting into boats. I found everyone that was leaving was crossing this bridge and continuing on through the field back to their villages. I sat and watched and photographed for a half hour as this steady procession passed me by!
