My love of the wilderness means I spend as much time as I can in the more rural parts of the country or at any given chance, the more distant parts of the world in pursuit of my next photo. This passion, inspired in a big way from growing up reading National Geographic and exploring the lakes and woods of Michigan with my father, has taken me to some incredible places and I'm humbled that my efforts have been displayed in galleries and added to collections throughout the world.

When not behind the camera I enjoy writing about my travel, photography, and all that goes with it, regularly contributing to online journals, magazines, and other websites.

As a social person who enjoys spending time with like-minded people and talking all things photography, I'm active on Instagram @markamiddleton. Find my social links at the top of every page on this website!
